Team while on her clinic abroad mission. She is honored and humbled by the experience of treating international athletes.

Dr. Theresa’s philosophy is that the human body is a dynamic, ever-changing system capable of extraordinary feats such as marathons, triathlons, Olympic lifting, and birth! She believes that the body was designed to function and perform without pain or compensation.  When poor performance or pain arises, the true dysfunction lies within the kinetic chain regardless of where symptoms occur.  Her goal is to reduce pain at the site of these symptoms while teaching prevention and functional movements to prevent the problem from resurfacing.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, rugby, and spending time with her family, friends, and puppy.

Dr. Jared Sams became interested in chiropractic in the seventh grade following a football injury. After being told by different doctors the injury he sustained would prevent him from playing contact sports, one of his coaches suggested trying chiropractic. Through chiropractic care, Dr. Sams was able to fulfill his goal of finishing his football career. After this experience, Dr. Sams made it his dream to become a chiropractor to help others achieve their goals whether that be getting back to a sport, improving on your last PR, or holding a grandchild.

Dr. Sams graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Salutatorian from West Virginia University with a BS in Exercise Physiology. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus, well-known for sports chiropractic. Here, he was an active member of the Sports

and Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This allowed him to work on performance enhancement with athletes on all levels throughout college.

Dr. Wiest has continued his education and earned his Fellowship with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and currently holds certification in Dry Needling. Dr. Wiest was selected as the team Chiropractor for the Carolina Panthers in 2010 and continues to work with the team today.

Dr. Wiest believes that using whatever techniques necessary to “put the fire out” and then educating patients on how they can prevent the fire in the future, is the best short term and long term plan for a patient. He focuses on injury prevention and performance enhancement through treating the body as a whole and assessing the kinetic chain. In his spare time he enjoys doing triathlon and running, and has completed Ironman Cozumel in 2012 and Ironman Florida in 2014. He is a member of Triple Threat Racing, a competitive triathlon team here in Charlotte. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Amie and two sons, Ethan and Brycen.
